Worst aspects of my Easter break: One thing that bothered me was the noise from the room. There seemed to be some sort of vents or air-conditioning on a nearby roof that made a constant noise, which was quite annoying.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in the heart of Lancaster. The staff were some of the friendliest and most professional I have ever encountered, and nothing was too much trouble for them - from the later checkout to the tasty breakfast. I especially enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located next to the river and within easy walking distance of the maritime museum and the castle. The free parking was a big plus too, as it made exploring the city hassle-free.

The only downside to my stay was that the room and bathroom could have done with a bit of a freshen up, but this didn't detract too much from my overall experience. The bed was comfortable though, which was a relief after a long day of sightseeing.
